APEC is launching a high efficient, single channel, 500KHz Asynchronous Boost Converter IC, APE1911MP. The high side N channel MOSFET is built inside; hense the application circuit is simple, it only requires inductor and diode for external components. The component counts is less to reduce the PCB board size. The soft start time of APE1911MP is adjustable by adjusting the capacitor value. The purpose of using this function is to avoid the overshoot when chip is turned on. This part can be widely used in lots of applications like LCD/PDP Power, Networking, Panel, Battery Power system. The APE1911MP accepts maximum 20Volts Vin and 32Volts maximum voltage output. The enable function is built in. The chip fuction blocks include Bandgap, Error Amplifier, OTP, OCP and support speedy transient response. The OTP and OCP to ensure the chip is fully protected under all kinds of abnormal conditions.
