Protection of workplace human rights

  • Comply with local government labor laws, international standards, and APEC's Human Rights Policy, and act in accordance with internal regulations.

  • Provide employees with a work environment of gender equality and diversity; uphold the principles of openness and fairness; do not discriminate against people through language, attitudes, or acts on the basis of gender, race, class, age, marital status, language, beliefs, religion, political affiliation, ancestral home, place of birth, looks, facial features, disability status, etc.; and by doing so, create a work environment of dignity, safety and equality free from discrimination and harassment. 2023 so far, no discrimination complaints had been received.

  • The company conducted a human rights policy education and promotion course "Introduction to the Two Conventions" to all colleagues in 2023, with a total of 137 people, totaling 45.7 hours.

Our retirement system abides by the Government of Taiwan's Labor Standards Act and the Labor Pension Act, including:

1. Years of service in accordance to the Labor Standards Act (Old System): Defined Benefit Plan
    The Company settled all employees’ pension of the Defined Benefit Plan in accordance with the laws and regulations in March 2017.

2. Length of service in accordance to the Labor Standards Act (amended): Defined Contribution Plan

  • Monthly Contribution by the Group: In accordance to the "Table of Monthly Salary Contribution of Labor Pension" set forth by the Bureau of Labor Insurance, the Group contributes 6% of total monthly salary of employees to the designated Labor Pension Reserve accounts of individual employees.
  • Voluntary Contribution by Employees: Employees can opt for voluntarily contribution of a maximum of 6% of their monthly salary to their Labor Pension Reserve accounts.
  • The Company withheld NT$7,481 thousand for labor pensions in 2023.
