Social Welfare and Community Engagement

The Company pays close attention to the development of local communities and the needs of underprivileged children. In 2025, the Company collaborated with the Hsinchu County Ai-Lin Community Care Association to support science education for disadvantaged children in the Green Light Classroom programs in the Xinpu and Zhudong areas. The Company donated NTD 50,000 as book purchase funds for the science education classrooms. In addition, employees organized a donation drive and collected 59 Christmas gifts. Volunteers delivered the gifts to the organization to help fulfill the children’s Christmas wishes. In line with the Company’s core business, volunteers also introduced children to science and semiconductor knowledge through engaging and interactive activities. By presenting semiconductor concepts in an easy-to-understand and practical way, the program aimed to inspire children’s curiosity for knowledge exploration and stimulate their interest in learning about science and technology.

To encourage employees to contribute to society together, the Company has established the “Charitable Donation Sponsorship Guidelines.” Employees may decide the organizations they wish to support and the amount they wish to donate according to their own preferences. The Company participates alongside employees by matching employee donations on a one-to-one basis to support charitable organizations.
Up to 2025, employees have contributed a total of NTD 1,942,800 to social welfare initiatives. The supported causes include disadvantaged groups, rural education, religious organizations, and stray animal welfare, among others.

In addition, the Company donated NTD 3 million to the Yageo Foundation for Culture and Education to support the foundation’s regular organization of medium- to large-scale cultural and art events in collaboration with major museums around the world. The donation also supports the foundation’s efforts to collect and preserve works by important artists, including early Taiwanese Western-style painter Chang Wan-Chuan, renowned Taiwanese artist Kuo Po-Chuan, contemporary Taiwanese artist Huang Chia-Ning, Lee Shu-Mei, known for depicting the beauty of Taiwanese women’s labor, and Taiwanese artist Yang Mao-Lin, among others.
In 2025, with the support of the foundation’s sponsorship, Taiwanese artist Tehching Hsieh held the exhibition “Tehching Hsieh: 1978–1999” at the Dia Beacon Museum in New York, USA. The exhibition will run for two years, presenting a comprehensive display of his most representative performance artworks created between 1978 and 1999. Through this exhibition, the foundation also aims to promote exchanges between Taiwanese artists and international art institutions and enhance the global visibility of Taiwanese contemporary art.
